Below are a list of job descriptions for membership committees that are available for leadership opportunities. We are currently recruiting members for our leadership team, and will find a position for any member who is enthusiastic about the apartment locating industry.
Communication (Email & Newsletters)
Members of this committee will have good writing skills and distribute clear and timely communication to our members and non-members. Members will also maintain the email address database, and respond to emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Members of this committee will work closely with members of the communication committee to distribute content to our social media channels.
Meetings & Events
Members of this committee will organize and plan quarterly local meetings. They will also work closely with the board members to promote our monthly online meetings to the membership.
Members of this committee are responsible for our Code of Ethics and monitoring any changes in state licensing that affects our members. They are also responsible for following up with grievances against our members.
Members of this committee will assist in the management of the website content and design. Must be proficient in WordPress.
Members of this committee are responsible for creating recruitment flyers and marketing collateral to explain our vision to new members. The membership committee will work closely with every other committee chair to distribute our vision via email, social media, website, and events. The goal is to engage each member into recruiting new members to the organization.
